Our Prayers Are With You, your children and the Grace Tabernacle COGIC family
Rev. Wright, you and your wife were ordained before time for a time like this. If there is any one that God can depend on, it is you. You will finish your race and your strength will comfort many of us.
And, like the Book of Job, we will understand that the Bible continues to LIVE through giants like you, your family and your life story. Your helpmate, co-pastor and wife, Betty, and your grandson, went home to glory. You will finish the race and souls will be saved. God will be glorified because you lay in the hospital fearless and peacefull. Death has nothing on you, Man of God. God's continuous blessing remains with you and your generation as we continue to praise God.
On Sunday, July 6, 2008, I watched a video interview which debut in March 2008 by a fellow producer, Rev. Dr. Aleida Harris, on BCAT TV. I could not believe how the timing of the video aligned with the tragic accident on July 4, 2008. There was a moment during the interview that Rev. Wright referred to wife as "was co-pastor", in the past tense. My husband, Rev. Williams, and I began questioning each other. Then he said, this seems as if Rev. Wright was having a premonition.
In a conversation with Rev. Dr. Harris on Tuesday night, July 8, 2008, she recounted that she had no way of knowing why she felt compelled to re-broadcast the interview with Rev. Timothy Wright, "I wanted to air another tape, but I kept picking up Rev. Wright's tape, so I just decided to air it."
There is no way that she could have made any arrangements between Friday, July 4, 2008, 11:00 pm (the approximate time of accident) and Sunday, July 6, 2008 when it was aired. As a BCAT producer, I know that tapes are turned-in at least four days in advance. I told her that every thing was ordained.
As I watched and listened to the BCAT interview on Sunday, July 6, 2008, about 4:00 pm, I could not help wondering if Rev. Wright had a premonition of his life as he spoke about an incident that took place on the 4th of July some years ago. He gave the details of his late wife's revelation during a sermon about her song, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Rev. Wright's wife had a revelation that day, the song, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, will anchor deliverance for many souls for centuries to come. And now all we have to do is call on his name. As the song says, "what's His name," Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
If possible I would encourage you to watch the BCAT interview by Dr. Harris and listen to the song that the late Evangelist Betty Wright first wrote, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, and draw your own conclusion.
