Seminar 1
Lakay Legal Service is conducting 2 seminars on renewable energy. The introductory seminar starts Tuesday October 13, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The registration fee is 0.
Seminar 2
The second seminar is an advanced course on renewable energy. This workshop will last for 4 weeks. It starts on Thursday October 15, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm; and continues every Thursdays for 4 weeks. The registration fee is 50.
What will you learn
Some of the information you will acquire include:
- Understanding the different types of alternative energy such as; Solar, wind and Hydro
- Understanding how to reduce your electrical bill
- Lighting and control
- Solar home system
- Understanding of batteries (advanced course)
- System design (advanced course)
Class Instructor
Both seminars would be conducted by Professor Paul Bouillon; Paul has more than 15 years of practical experience in designing and installing solar panels. Paul has also taught renewable energy courses at Bronx Community College. Paul has said even if some one doesn't know how to read or write, he can still teach them how solar energy works.
